External Feedback
Seek targeted feedback from people in the field, not just anyone willing to glance at it.
Feedback is only as useful as the feedback-giver's context. The right reviewer catches different problems than a well-meaning friend.
Who to ask
Someone who has hired for a similar role, works in your target industry, or has recently gone through the same job search will catch things a generalist reader won't, like an outdated norm in your field, or a gap a recruiter would flag.
What to ask for
Instead of "does this look okay?", ask specific questions: "Would you interview me based on this?", "What's the weakest section?", "Is anything unclear without more context?" Specific questions get specific, actionable answers.
Ask a senior engineer in your target stack to review the Experience section specifically for technical credibility.
Ask only close family for a quick look and take "looks great!" as confirmation it's ready.
